If you’re reading this then you’ll know that we love frankincense!  We love it for its purity, it’s scent profile, health benefits and versatility.  That’s why we wanted to create a frankincense candle like no other.  Not only did we want to bring the most authentic way of experiencing frankincense without burning resin but we wanted to make it safe, easy and ethical for all.

So how do you go about capturing the scent of frankincense resin in a candle?  Will it ever be on par with burning the resin on coal or at low temperature (like on The Faseel Frankincense Burner)?

Well, first you have to find the right chandler and we are proud to say that we work with the team behind Hopton Candles in creating our luxurious aromatherapy candles.  Working with them, we went through many variations of the frankincense concentrations mixed with the 100% natural soy wax that we use.  The soy wax is a non-carcinogen so there are no harmful paraffins or parabens in our candles.  Only 100% soy wax with 100% frankincense and/or frankincense and other first pressed essential oil blends.

We worked hard to create the scent profile for the Signature Frankincense Luxury Aromatherapy Candle and proud to say that after testing many other ‘frankincense’ candles on the market, we have not found any frankincense candle that smells anything like ours.

Even before lighting the candle, take a deep sniff of the natural soy wax and you will notice that the cold throw is supreme.  The pure, medicinal, clarifying notes are a joy and hint at what it is to come.  Once lit, the scent is light and pure but unmistakably present. After around 30 minutes to 1 hour you will notice that there is a pristine, citrusy feel to the air and with each inhalation, your olfactory senses thank you.  The air feels like there is a ‘glow’ to it showcasing the purifying nature of frankincense.
