How to use

In Omani culture, a small tear of resin is usually placed inside the mouth and chewed. Inside the mouth, the hard resin reverts to its softer, gum-like state and can be chewed for as long as you like. Do not swallow frankincense resin.

The Omani people also make frankincense tea by placing a few tears of green resin in about 1 litre of water and soaking it overnight. The water soon becomes a cloudy colour and can then be drunk in small amounts periodically the next day. You can keep topping up the water to keeping the same resin. The resin should be changed once you notice the water becoming less cloudy with each top-up. That same resin can then be burnt.
